ELECTRONICS RECYCLING FACILITY
As you can imagine, PA Matthews Audio replaces a lot of old equipment with new. All recovered equipment returns to our “in house” recycling facility at Tennyson. Rest assured, your old gear is NOT going in to land fill!
Equipment which is faulty or life expired is dismantled by our wrecking staff and (where possible) separated into base metals such as copper, aluminum and steel. Mixed items are then collected and categorised in to board items (circuit boards) and motor items (transformers). This recycle stream is then sold to local metal recyclers.
Equipment found to be suitable for reuse is bench tested and then stored in our second hand equipment facility. This equipment is then available for use for;
– Replacing damaged equipment in schools where repair is not economical;
– Smaller installations in small schools where low cost is important;
– Temporary installations where the equipment is not expected to remain in service for more than a few years.
All recovered equipment is provided with a full 30 day replacement warranty.
